Recognition and Reviews

We are proud to partner with several community organizations throughout our area who work to provide you a pleasurable experience on Florida's Forgotten Coast.

Visit Gulf County

It's been said that the journey is more important than the destination. But we believe one trip to our 43 miles of pristine shorelines and you'll agree with the locals that Gulf County, FL offers the best of both.

Visit Florida

The state's official travel planning web site - Expanded travel coverage and rich media let you explore the Sunshine State like never before.

Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association

The Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association is among the most influential trade associations in Florida. The association was established in 1946 to represent the restaurant industry.

Since that time, the scope of FRLA's representation has expanded to include the entire hospitality industry including lodging establishments, restaurants and thousands of suppliers to the industry. The association counts among its members some of the largest businesses in each of these categories.

Gulf County Chamber of Commerce

The mission of the Gulf County Chamber of Commerce is to be an ADVOCATE for existing businesses and the community, a CONDUIT for pursuing positive developments, and a CATALYST for cooperation.

Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce
Apalachicola Chamber of Commerce

Highly valued for our unspoiled natural environment, the coastal communities of Apalachicola, St. George Island and Eastpoint offer an authentic taste of Florida's Gulf Coast with plenty of charm and history. You’ll find miles of uncrowded pristine beaches, an endless supply of protected shallow bays, excellent fishing and acres of National and State forests to explore.

Combine all this with some of the finest oysters and seafood in the country and your stay with us is sure to be memorable.

The Florida Green Lodging Program

The Florida Green Lodging Program was established in 2004 by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) with the intent of recognizing and rewarding environmentally conscientious lodging facilities in the state. Through this rapidly growing program DEP encourages the lodging industry to conserve and protect Florida's natural resources. The Florida Green Lodging Program is unique in that it covers an all-inclusive list of environmental initiatives that are specific to the Florida environment.
